In the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2026, the government provided for an increase in social standards \u2014 in particular, the minimum wage and the subsistence minimum. For the first time since 2024, these indicators have undergone changes \u2014 in 2025 they were not revised.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada for Tax and Customs Policy, Yaroslav Zheleznyak.<\/p>\n

What amounts were deposited:<\/p>\n

The minimum wage will increase from 8,000 to 8,647 hryvnias (+8%)<\/p>\n

The total subsistence minimum \u2014 from 2,920 to 3,209 hryvnias (+9.9%)<\/p>\n

For able-bodied persons \u2014 from 3,028 to 3,328 hryvnias (+9.9%)<\/p>\n

For persons who have lost their ability to work \u2014 from 2,361 to 2,595 hryvnias (+9.9%)<\/p>\n

The latter indicator is the basis for calculating the minimum pension, which will also increase to UAH 2,595.<\/p>\n

In addition, the draft budget also provides for a new upper limit for pension payments – the maximum pension in 2026 could be 25,950 hryvnias.<\/p>\n

Recall that the total amount of expenditures included in the draft state budget for 2026 will amount to 4.8 trillion hryvnias<\/a> , which is more than 3 times higher than the expenditures of the Ukrainian budget before the full-scale invasion.<\/p>\n

As reported, in 2026, salaries for primary and emergency medical care doctors will increase in Ukraine<\/a> .<\/p>\n
