This is due to the water supply crisis, which has reached catastrophic levels due to Russian actions. The occupation authorities are hiding the scale of the problem, blaming Ukraine for everything.

This was announced on the air of “Pryamoy” by the head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation, Petro Andryuschenko.

“Last week there was a big meeting held by the so-called “DPR Ministry of Education”… The main issue was water. There are cases of cholera in schools, particularly in Donetsk. Dysentery there is, in principle, a normal story. We need to take measures, open toilets, equip toilets in the yard or bring in mobile toilets. All this was discussed,” Andryuschenko informs.

https://youtu.be/1L4zJdYG6NI?t=238

“Russian World” is a world of shit

According to him, it is not only about hygiene, but also that due to the water crisis, there are certain diseases and epidemics in the occupied territories. However, the occupation administrations are hiding this information.

“There was an epidemic of rotavirus infection in Mariupol. The symptoms of all infectious diseases, such as cholera, dysentery, rotavirus infection, or anything else, are similar. But it cannot be otherwise, given the fact that there is no water, it is becoming less, and to the point of a catastrophe… For example, in the Mariupol district, water began to be delivered to villages. Because the water in the wells disappeared due to the damaged hydraulic system,” explains the former advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.

“There is an outbreak of “something”, but no one can name it. People have been lining up at clinics since five in the morning… These are scary stories related to the water crisis. The situation is getting worse and will get even worse. Because Donetsk, Makiivka, Horlivka have already crossed the line of degradation, and now it will develop rapidly in terms of negative consequences,” Andryuschenko noted.

At the same time, local residents, as the former employee emphasizes, are fleeing Donetsk en masse so as not to expose themselves to danger.

A swamp has remained from Molochna: Melitopol suffers from a water shortage

“A large migration flow has left Donetsk. Young people have been leaving for a long time, and now everyone who can is fleeing. Because it is impossible to live there. Everyone understands that they will not be there. They do not trust the Russian authorities… Even Russian sociology demonstrates that Donetsk is on the verge of a social explosion. Now they are trying to fix it by accusing Ukraine of blocking the water. Recently, foreigners were brought in to spread around the world that Ukraine is blocking the water in Donetsk. But this does not solve the situation, and it will only get worse,” says Petro Andryuschenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation.

Meanwhile, in occupied Donetsk, the acute shortage of technical and drinking water has given rise to a new type of crime. Owners of cars with containers or tanks drive to public water tanks and pump out water for themselves, effectively stealing it. Journalist Denis Kazansky compared the situation to an apocalyptic disaster movie .

At the same time, the leader of the “DPR” group, Denis Pushilin, and his entourage control at least six bottled water factories, effectively making money off the city’s residents.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , Twitter , Telegram , and Instagram .

Cases of cholera and dysentery are being recorded in the occupied territories, particularly in Donetsk.
