The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published<\/a> operational information as of 4:00 p.m. on September 16, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To date, the enemy has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 85 times<\/strong> . Russian artillery shelling has affected the border areas of our country, in particular the settlements of Liskivshchyna in Chernihiv region; Simeykine, Bila Bereza, Bobylivka in Sumy region.<\/p>\n

In the North Slobozhansky<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions, the enemy attempted to launch offensive operations five times. Enemy aircraft carried out one air strike, dropping a total of two guided bombs, and the enemy also carried out 74 attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian military repelled two enemy assaults near Vovchansk and Lyptsi.<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked five times in the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction towards Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, and Pishchane, two clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian units repelled three attacks in the direction of Shyykivka, Shandryholovy, and near Kolodyazy. Two attacks are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Siverskyi<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight enemy attacks – the occupier units are trying to advance in the areas of Serebryanka, Hryhorivka and towards the settlements of Viyimka, Yampil, and Dronivka. Three clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, one clash with the enemy occurred in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka area.<\/p>\n

In the Torets<\/strong> direction, Russian occupiers stormed the positions of our defenders 11 times in the areas of Shcherbinivka, Katerynivka, Poltavka, Rusyny Yar and in the direction of Ivano-Pol, Pleshchiivka. Ukrainian units repelled nine attacks, two more clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky<\/strong> direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have launched 36 attacks on the positions of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Vilne, Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, Novoukrainka. Restraining the enemy onslaught, the Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 29 attacks.<\/p>\n

In the Novopavlivka<\/strong> direction, the invaders launched nine attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Filiya, Ivanivka, Oleksandrograd, Maliivka, and Novoivanivka. Four clashes are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

No combat clashes were recorded in the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Bilogirya and Zaliznychne.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out an air strike in the area of the settlement of Hryhorivka, but did not conduct offensive operations.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks by the invaders. The invader’s aircraft struck Odradokamyanka with unguided aircraft missiles.<\/p>\n
