On the night of Wednesday, September 18, Russia carried out another large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine using strike drones. In total, 75 kamikaze drones of various types were launched, including more than 40 Shahed, as well as Gerber-type drones and others.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The launches of enemy UAVs were carried out from Russian territory – from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian air defense forces were involved in repelling the air attack: aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare (EW) units, mobile fire groups, and UAV systems of the Defense Forces.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary data as of 09:00:<\/p>\n

48 drones destroyed or suppressed over the northern, eastern and central regions;<\/p>\n

26 drones hit targets \u2014 attacks were recorded at at least six locations across Ukraine;<\/p>\n

One enemy drone was still in the air at the time of the release of the information.<\/p>\n

The Air Force promised to clarify the consequences of the strike, as well as provide updated data on the operation of air defense after completing the analysis of the situation.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of September 17 , several sections of the railway were cut off as a result of a Russian attack in the Poltava region<\/a> . As a result, passenger trains are delayed, and one person was injured.<\/p>\n

As reported, over the past 24 hours, 184 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front<\/a> . The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.<\/p>\n

In addition, as of the morning of September 18, Russia had lost about 1,098,380 military personnel since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 930 people.<\/a><\/p>\n
