King Charles III of Great Britain, during a state dinner with US President Donald Trump, declared the unity of Western allies in supporting Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> CNN.<\/p>\n

In his speech, Charles III emphasized that at a time when tyranny once again threatens Europe, Great Britain, together with its allies, stands as a united front in support of Ukraine to deter aggression and ensure peace.<\/p>\n

US President Donald Trump, for his part, called his second state visit to the UK “one of the highest honors of my life” and expressed hope that this would be the last visit of this format by a US president in the near future.<\/p>\n

In his speech, Trump also praised Prince William, calling him a “remarkable son,” and mentioned the Princess of Wales’ recovery from cancer treatment.<\/p>\n

In addition, the American leader emphasized the “special relationship” between the United States and Great Britain and spoke about his country’s economic growth, comparing the current state with the previous year:<\/p>\n

“A year ago, our country was very sick, and today, in my opinion, we are the most successful country in the world. In fact, no one even questions that,” Trump said.<\/p>\n

The state dinner was held in London as part of the US President’s official visit.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to discuss with US President Donald Trump in the near future the specific timing of imposing sanctions against Russia and the supply of additional defense systems.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, the US House of Representatives supported the defense policy bill for fiscal year 2025 with a total budget of $892.6 billion. The final version of the law retains the provision on the allocation of $400 million for Pentagon initiatives in the field of security in Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n
