On the night of September 18, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine carried out one of the deepest strikes on Russian territory. The long-range drones reached the city of Salavat in Bashkortostan and hit an oil refining unit at the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat plant. This is approximately 1,400 kilometers from the front. The enterprise is considered one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to NV<\/a> sources in the SBU, the explosions damaged the ELOU-AVT-4 unit, which is responsible for the primary refining of oil and the production of gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil. A large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the plant, thick smoke was visible from afar.<\/p>\n\t

“These strikes deep into Russia prove that there are no longer any safe regions for the enemy,” an informed source emphasized.<\/p>\n

Local authorities confirmed the drone attack, and OSINT analysts noted that the drones traveled to Bashkortostan all night.<\/p>\n

The successful drone attack on this Russian facility was also confirmed<\/a> by the head of the Central Military District, Andriy Kovalenko. He called the strikes on the Russian rear “a wonderful job.”<\/p>\n

“A successful strike on the refinery in the city of Salavat (Bashkiria). The Volgograd refinery was also attacked,” his post says.<\/p>\n

As reported by the head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, on the night of September 18 , two drones attacked the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat plant<\/a> . The strike caused a fire, which was allegedly extinguished, there were no casualties, and the extent of the damage was still being determined.<\/p>\n

In addition, that same night , SBU drones hit another strategic facility<\/a> , the Volgograd Oil Refinery. After the attack, the enterprise suspended operations.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in coordination with other units of the Defense Forces, conducted a successful operation on the territory of Russia. As a result, a strike was carried out on the Saratov Oil Refinery, located in the Saratov Region of the Russian Federation<\/a> .<\/p>\n
