US President Donald Trump will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. The conversation will take place tomorrow, September 23, in New York.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting of the presidents was announced by<\/a> White House press secretary Caroline Levitt.<\/p>\n

The American leader will also meet with the UN Secretary-General, as well as the leaders of Argentina and the European Union.<\/p>\n

“Tomorrow he will participate in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, where, among other things, he will deliver a speech on how “globalist institutions have significantly worsened the world order” and outline his clear and constructive vision of the world,” Levitt said.<\/p>\n

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio previously confirmed that Trump’s meeting with Zelensky was planned specifically as part of the UN General Assembly’s high-level week.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, President Zelenskyy drew attention to the fact that Russia had launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the eve of the General Assembly.<\/p>\n

“That is why it is so important that this diplomatic week becomes productive. We must act so that murders and war do not become routine. We need really strong pressure on Russia, new joint steps by everyone in the world who believes that international law should work again,” the Ukrainian president emphasized.<\/p>\n

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he is preparing for a “week of diplomacy”<\/a> , during which almost 20 meetings with world leaders will take place.<\/p>\n
