Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation, hitting important military and economic facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the press service of the General Staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, on the night of September 24, Ukrainian soldiers fired on the territory of the Gazprom Neftekhim-Salavat oil refinery in Bashkortostan.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result of the attack, the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil refining unit was hit. A fire broke out at the plant.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the department explained, the enterprise processed up to 10 million tons of oil per year and is a key producer of liquid rocket fuel in the Russian Federation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Defense Forces also struck important facilities in the Volgograd region that are involved in providing support to the occupation army.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The fire engulfed the Kuzmichi-1 oil pumping station, which is part of the crude oil transportation system to the southern regions of the Russian Federation. In addition, the Zenzevatka oil pumping station, which provides oil transportation through the Kuibyshev-Tikhoretsk main oil pipeline, was hit,” the report says.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, in order to reduce the enemy’s combat capabilities, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a UAV production facility in the settlement of Valuyki, in the Belgorod region.<\/span> The results are currently being clarified.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Astrakhan region was also under attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, a gas processing plant was hit. As a result, production areas were damaged, which caused the suspension of part of the production process.<\/span><\/p>\n

“This gas processing plant is one of the world’s largest gas chemical complexes and the main producer of sulfur for explosives in the Russian Federation, providing up to 66% of Russian production. The annual volume of oil products processed at the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant is up to 3.2 million tons per year,” the General Staff added.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of September 24 , Russian regions were attacked by drones from several directions at once<\/a> – the strikes fell on the Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as the city of Taganrog in Rostov Oblast.<\/p>\n

By the way, in the Belgorod region of Russia , a drone attack destroyed a bridge near the village of Staroseltsevo<\/a> , which was part of the logistical routes of the Russian military.<\/p>\n
