Russian troops continue exhausting assaults on the Pokrovsky direction and build up forces for a possible offensive in the Kherson region. Despite attempted attacks on several sections of the front, the enemy fails to achieve a general breakthrough.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is stated<\/a> in a recent report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), published on September 24. Analysts cite both data from the Ukrainian Armed Forces and reports from Russian military bloggers.<\/p>\n

Sumy region.<\/strong> The Russian Federation continues offensive operations, in particular, attempting to storm Kindrativka with the 810th Marines. However, these units were transferred without proper rest, so the effectiveness of operations is low.<\/p>\n

Kharkiv region.<\/strong> In the areas north of Kupyansk, Velyky Burluk and Vovchansk – no changes. The enemy is attacking, but without advancing.<\/p>\n

Northern direction.<\/strong> The Russian Federation is using infiltration tactics in small groups, using motorcycles, thermal imaging cloaks, and trying to destroy Ukrainian UAV launch sites. Ukrainian operators expect increased fighting intensity in the cold season due to the greater effectiveness of drones.<\/p>\n

Lymansky direction.<\/strong> The Armed Forces of Ukraine recently had a local advance.<\/p>\n

Pokrovsky direction.<\/strong> Here, constant attacks by Russian infantry in small groups have been recorded, often at night. At the same time, Ukrainian SSOs confirm that the enemy is suffering losses and is exhausted.<\/p>\n

Donetsk region.<\/strong> Tactical enemy advance observed in the area of Kostyantynivka and Druzhkivka. The Russian Federation is trying to improve logistics in Chasovye Yar and Stupochky, transferring elements of the 70th Marine Brigade.<\/p>\n

Zaporizhzhia direction.<\/strong> The Russians have recently advanced southwest of Stepnohirsk and are striking Ukrainian Armed Forces positions near Kamianske.<\/p>\n

The Russian Federation is actively building up its forces on the left bank of the Kherson region \u2014 in the area between the Konka River, Oleshki and Antonivskyi Bridge. According to Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Southern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, these units are regrouping for a new phase of hostilities in the direction of Antonivskyi Bridge. There is also evidence of strengthening Russian positions on the eastern bank.<\/p>\n

The Russian command has partially changed tactics: instead of reconnaissance by combat, small strike groups are now used with close support from artillery and drones. At the same time, in most directions, the enemy’s offensive is slow and without strategic results.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Russian occupation army has expanded the zone of control at the front, in particular, enemy advances have been recorded in three regions.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, the Russian occupation forces changed their tactics in the Kramatorsk direction<\/a> , in particular, the enemy began to use drones more.<\/p>\n
