In France, mysterious drone activity was recorded in the sky over the Murmelon-le-Grand military base. This base is located in the Marne department. The drones were recorded on the night of September 21-22. The incident itself caused concern among both the military and local residents. The origin of the drones remains unknown at this time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The unidentified drones were first reported by the local newspaper L’Union<\/a> . The data was later confirmed by the department’s military delegation (DMD).<\/p>\n

“Several drone flights were observed. At this time, we cannot say who launched them, but we know that they are not military,” the DMD reported.<\/p>\n

The publication’s sources assure that the drones were “of considerable size.” At the same time, the military delegation clarified that it could be small drones. After the incident, security measures and the level of vigilance were tightened at the base.<\/p>\n

The gendarmerie is already investigating the incident, but its representatives, as well as the prefecture of the Marne department, have refrained from public comment. L’Union recalls that drone flights in France are strictly regulated, especially over strategic and military sites.<\/p>\n
