Maryna Poroshenko touchingly congratulated fifth president Petro Poroshenko on his 60th birthday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She published her congratulations on her Facebook<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

“It’s so difficult to find celebratory words in times when the country and each of us live under the burden of war. When you don’t know where the next enemy martyr will land, whether there will be warmth and light in the winter, whether our foreign partners will tire of us, whether we can strengthen our home front despite ignorance and corruption. We need to be on the front line, because all hope, as always, lies with them.”<\/p>\n

In moments like these, I never cease to be amazed: where do you draw your strength, energy, and faith? To do so much for the country, to help the army, to defend its interests in parliament and internationally, despite the political, judicial, and media pressure from the authorities, to remain a support for those who constantly turn to you for help. You never complain or grumble. And even I can’t always appreciate the price you pay for your confidence and resilience. But your optimism and inner strength inspire, give you faith and hope, and compel you to move forward. And never give up,” she said.<\/p>\n

“You are who you are. And I love and respect you just like that. Today, I won’t wish you anything extraordinary, but I ask you to never stop dreaming and to make your dreams come true, to make a happy, fair, and democratic life for the whole country. Happy birthday!” Marina congratulated her husband on his anniversary.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, members of parliament from the European Solidarity faction, in honor of the anniversary of the party’s leader and fifth president, Petro Poroshenko, called on everyone to donate to<\/a> the NGO “Delo Hromad” for “Aspirin 2.0” drone detectors for the military. As usual, the Poroshenko Foundation will double the amount raised.<\/p>\n
