Law enforcement officers have detained an employee of Ukrenergo NPC suspected of treason. The man was passing secret information to a representative of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> the Prosecutor General’s Office.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the suspect sent official materials, including the coordinates of a hidden and protected energy center, through one of the encrypted messengers.<\/p>\n

This information could have been used by the Russian military to plan strikes on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, including missile or drone attacks.<\/p>\n

The suspect’s actions were qualified under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – high treason committed under martial law.<\/p>\n

He is currently in custody, and investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, another traitor who helped Russian troops attack Zaporizhia was sentenced in Ukraine.<\/a> A Russian military intelligence agent was sentenced to 15 years in prison for treason.<\/p>\n
