On the night of Friday, September 26, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, together with other units of the Defense Forces, struck the facilities of the Afipsk oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out at the facility. It has been confirmed that production workshops were hit – the extent of damage and details are currently being clarified.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the attack was aimed at reducing the offensive potential of the occupiers and complicating the supply of fuel and ammunition to units of the Russian army.<\/p>\n

As is known, the Afipsky Refinery specializes in the production of gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel and has an annual capacity of about 6.25 million tons per year – these resources were used to supply Russian troops in the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The General Staff adds that operations of this plan are aimed at weakening the logistics of the Russians and reducing their capabilities for offensive actions. The Defense Forces will continue measures that will force the Russian Federation to reconsider the possibility of conducting aggressive operations against Ukraine. They promise to make the details of the defeat public after the assessment of the consequences is completed.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that on the night of Friday, September 26, a fire broke out on the territory of the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation<\/a> . According to preliminary information, the fire was the result of a new drone attack.<\/p>\n

Earlier, in the Belgorod region of Russia, a drone attack destroyed a bridge<\/a> near the village of Staroseltsevo, which was part of the logistics routes of the Russian military.<\/p>\n
