Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, described the tactics the Russians are using in the Novopavlovka sector and how the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to halt their advance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky announced this during a conversation with journalists.<\/p>\n

“Dnipropetrovsk region is the Novopavlivske direction, where the administrative borders of three regions\u2014Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk\u2014converge. The enemy is attempting to advance deeper into the territory using the ‘thousand cuts’ tactic. They have only one goal: to declare their presence and plant their flag in a building in a populated area.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that the enemy lacks the strength and resources to carry out a decisive offensive.<\/p>\n

“The enemy was transferring marine units from the Sumy direction to Novopavlovske in order to break through our defenses and make a breakthrough into either the Zaporizhzhia or Dnipropetrovsk regions. But we actively thwarted the enemy’s offensive attempt in the Novopavlovske direction. The entire Russian marine force is now bogged down in the fighting in the Dobropillya direction.” <\/p>\n
