The administration of US President Donald Trump has presented a detailed plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip. The document includes a number of steps, from an immediate ceasefire and the release of hostages to humanitarian recovery and security guarantees in the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the plan, the first 48 hours should see a cessation of hostilities and the return of hostages. The next step will be the disarmament of the Hamas group, including the destruction of offensive weapons. Special attention is paid to the humanitarian aspect. The US has offered to lead the reconstruction process in Gaza: rebuilding housing, hospitals and infrastructure. The distribution of international aid will be controlled by the UN and other neutral organizations.
