The world hails Moldova\u2019s parliamentary election results \u2014 and marks another setback for Putin, whose plan for a \u201csoft annexation\u201d of the country has failed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

50.6% \/ 55 seats \u2013 Maia Sandu\u2019s pro-European PAS<\/strong> party
24.19% \/ 26 seats \u2013 pro-Kremlin Patriotic Bloc<\/strong> of Igor Dodon (red star, hammer and sickle)
7.97% \/ 8 seats \u2013 Alternative Bloc<\/strong> (pro-Russian, led by Alexander Stoyanoglo)
6.2% \/ 6 seats \u2013 Democracy at Home<\/strong> party (advocating unification with Romania)
5.62% \/ 6 seats \u2013 Our Party<\/strong> (Renato Usatiy, \u201cboth here and there\u201d \u2014 subtly promoting pro-Kremlin narratives)<\/p>\n

Winning 55 seats out of 101 is a strong result. Sandu and her team worked tirelessly to achieve it over the past weeks and even days. As a political strategist, I would rate their performance as \u201cexcellent,\u201d noting that nearly all possible \u201cwhite\u201d and \u201cgray\u201d campaign techniques were employed.<\/p>\n\t
