Russia has resumed supplies of Belarusian gasoline through the St. Petersburg Exchange after a nearly year-long hiatus that began in the fall of 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine reported<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

The reason is said to be high demand and unscheduled shutdowns of Russian oil refineries.<\/p>\n

According to the SVR, 96,900 tons of Belarusian petroleum products were sold from July to September 2025, a 36% increase compared to the same period in 2024. In September, gasoline sales increased by 168% compared to August, and diesel fuel sales by 83%.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, Moscow and Minsk are deepening cooperation in the military-industrial sector. Specifically, at the INNOPROM. Belarus exhibition, Kidma Tek, a small arms and optics manufacturer in Orsha that is under international sanctions, signed a contract with the Russian Tula Cartridge Plant.<\/p>\n

Officially, it was stated that this concerns the supply of civilian products; however, according to intelligence data, Kidma Tech works primarily for military needs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The SVR notes that Moscow is increasingly pressuring Minsk to support the Russian economy and defense sector, using Belarusian resources to cover its own critical needs.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Ukrainian drones caused record<\/a> damage to Russia’s oil refining industry, knocking out nearly 38% of primary oil refining capacity. <\/p>\n
