Of these, 183 soldiers were privates, sergeants, and two were officers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Zelensky, the majority had been in captivity since 2022. Before being captured by the enemy, they defended Mariupol, Azovstal, and the Chernobyl NPP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">20 civilians returned home with the military.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/Koord_shtab\/15378\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">assured<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, all those released will undergo a full medical examination, receive assistance with physical and psychological rehabilitation, and payments provided by the state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThank you to everyone who makes the exchanges possible. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have managed to return home more than 7 thousand of our people. We must return everyone. We are working on this every day,\u201d the president emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> Zelenskyy previously stated that<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/zelenskyy-anonsuvav-novyy-obmin-polonenymy-skilky-osib-planuiut-povernuty\/\">the heads of the Ukrainian and Russian negotiating teams are in constant contact<\/a> and are preparing a new large-scale prisoner exchange.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, on August 24, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ukraina-ta-rosiia-provely-cherhovyy-obmin-polonenymy-bilshist-zvilnenykh-perebuvala-v-nevoli-z-2022-roku\/\">Ukraine and Russia held another prisoner exchange<\/a> , in particular, they managed to return military personnel and civilians home.<\/p>\n<p> As is known, on August 14 <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/viyskovi-ta-tsyvilni-do-ukrainy-z-polonu-rf-povernulys-84-liudyny\/\">, another 84 people were returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity<\/a> .
