The European Union is preparing to launch a new program that should help Ukraine gain a technological advantage in the war against Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on the social network X.<\/p>\n

She emphasized that Moscow must be aware of the determination of the EU and its partners to support Kyiv until a just and lasting peace is achieved.<\/p>\n

“We will soon launch a new program to give Ukraine the technological advantage it needs on the battlefield,” von der Leyen emphasized.<\/p>\n

She also noted that the European Union is working together with partners on Ukraine’s European future.<\/p>\n

“This is exactly what we mean when we say: today, tomorrow and as long as it takes,” the head of the European Commission added.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the European Union is preparing a new package of sanctions against Russia<\/a> , which includes strict restrictions in three areas – energy, the financial sector, and trade.<\/p>\n

Also, on October 1, Ukraine received a new tranche from the EU in the amount of 4 billion euros<\/a> as part of the international G7 ERA (Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration) program.<\/p>\n

As Bloomberg reported, Europe and the United States may soon reach an agreement on the transfer of frozen Russian assets worth about $50 billion to Ukraine<\/a> .<\/p>\n
