They still believe the Kremlin&#8217;s statements and stubbornly ignore the inevitability of war with Russia. Therefore, Ukraine should strengthen the diplomatic front and explain to the Europeans that it is time to act more decisively.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This opinion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9oVsginDeOU\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was expressed<\/a> on the air of &#8220;Pryamoy&#8221; by Oleksiy Petrov, a participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war and blogger.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The first line of defense is Ukraine. I don&#8217;t want it to be built behind Ukraine&#8217;s back. I mean on the border between Ukraine and, say, Poland, Romania, or Hungary. I want it to be built as close to the line of combat contact as possible,&#8221; the war veteran believes.<\/p>\n<p> However, according to him, Europeans are still not adequately responding to Russian drone attacks.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;When there was a story with the first massive attack by Russian drones on the territory of Poland, a thought came to me: it would be good for Poland and our Western partners to stop playing the game that Moscow imposes on them. They act after the fact. Moscow took a step &#8211; Europe responded. For example, they could declare that they held negotiations with Ukraine and are now deploying an anti-aircraft and anti-missile umbrella for Poland, which will be on half of Ukraine. We will shoot down everything that flies towards Poland. Now a lot depends on Ukraine, our diplomatic corps, military-political leadership. We must impose our point of view on Europe, push it, say: do not make our mistakes. Russia cannot be believed under any conditions. What Peskov says, just turn it upside down, and you will have a picture for the future,&#8221; explains Oleksiy Petrov, a participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, the European Political Community summit kicked off in Copenhagen on October 1. This is a meeting of heads of state and government from over 40 European countries, created as a platform for discussing security, economics, and energy. The format allows for the EU and non-EU countries to unite for coordination of actions and strategic dialogue.<\/p>\n<p> It was previously announced that the central theme would be <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/stina-z-droniv-dlia-yevropy-u-kopenhaheni-obhovoriat-novi-oboronni-proiekty\/\">the creation of a &#8220;drone wall&#8221;<\/a> and strengthening the defense of Europe&#8217;s eastern flank. The urgency of these steps has increased after a series of violations of NATO airspace by Russian targets.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/rf-prahne-normalizatsii-vidnosyn-zi-ssha-cherez-tysk-i-perehovory\/\">Moscow is trying to persuade Washington to normalize relations<\/a> , combining nuclear blackmail with diplomatic and economic initiatives. At the same time, the Kremlin is deliberately prolonging the war against Ukraine and refusing any negotiations with Kyiv.<\/p>\n<p> Meanwhile, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin made some loud statements at the Valdai Forum on October 2.
