In Vinnytsia, police officers detained a man who opened fire near a shopping center. A conflict broke out between two local residents, as a result of which one of them wounded the other with a shot from a pistol, previously an air gun.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> the Vinnytsia region police.<\/p>\n

It is noted that the incident occurred on October 5 at around 4:10 p.m. near a shopping center in Pavla Kornelyuk Lane in Vinnytsia. The police received a report that shots were heard near the building. Law enforcement officers quickly arrived at the scene and established all the circumstances of the incident and the identity of the shooter.<\/p>\n

As reported by the Vinnytsia Oblast police, a conflict occurred between a 31-year-old local resident and a 21-year-old victim, during which the older participant took out a pistol and fired a shot in the direction of his opponent.<\/p>\n

It was previously determined that the weapon was pneumatic. The bullet hit the victim in the face, after which an ambulance was called to the scene.<\/p>\n

The victim is currently being examined by doctors, and the attacker was detained in a procedural manner. The weapon he used was seized by police for further examination.<\/p>\n

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “Hooliganism”. This article provides for a penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to seven years.<\/p>\n

Investigators are currently working to establish all the circumstances of the crime under the procedural guidance of the Vinnytsia District Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that on Friday, September 12, at around 12:00, a shooting occurred in the office of a car service in the village of Pidryasne, Lviv region.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the evening of August 31 , a shooting occurred on Volodymyr Velyky Street in Lviv<\/a> : two men were running after another when he pulled out a weapon and fired a shot.<\/p>\n
