Ivan Tymochko, Chairman of the Council of Reservists of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that the use of data from the Unified State Register of Voters is part of the normal process for more effective mobilization in Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said this in a comment to TSN<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Tymochko explained that territorial recruitment centers (TCCs) will use the Unified State Register of Voters as one of the main databases for clarifying information about potential conscripts.<\/p>\n

According to him, this registry is the most accurate and complete, as it was updated most often, especially before the start of a full-scale war.<\/p>\n

“In order for mobilization to be effective, it must be based on some kind of information base. To understand who to work with, you need to know who these people are. That is why information is obtained from various registers. We have the most accurate and complete one – the Voter Register. This is a normal process that will help us act faster on the ground,” Tymochko noted.<\/p>\n

He also added that the automatic registration of men for military service, which is currently being implemented in Ukraine, will allow for a more rapid response to mobilization needs. At the same time, Tymochko stressed that mobilization will not increase sharply, as the process is taking into account the current capabilities of the state.<\/p>\n

“We have a shortage of personnel. No one hides this. But we need to maintain a balance between mobilization and the functioning of the economy,” he concluded.<\/p>\n

We would like to add that all men aged 25 to 60 who were not registered with the military and did not use the \u201cReserve+\u201d application were automatically added to the Unified Register of Conscripts \u201cOberig\u201d<\/a> . Now they may receive fines for violating registration rules.<\/p>\n

By the way, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the government’s decision to simplify military registration<\/a> . Now young men will be able to register remotely via an application, and men aged 25 to 60 who have not been registered without legal grounds will be registered automatically.<\/p>\n

Note that MP Roman Kostenko previously reported that Ukraine is mobilizing only half of what is needed to fully man combat brigades<\/a> and create reserves. This is enough to maintain the front at the current pace.<\/p>\n

As \u201cPryamiy\u201d already reported, after the relevant government permission, men aged 18 to 22<\/a> began to leave Ukraine en masse. The dynamics are especially noticeable in the western regions of Ukraine<\/a> . This already has tangible consequences for Ukrainian business<\/a> . In particular, for those sectors where physical endurance and a flexible schedule are required.<\/p>\n

As you know, martial law and general mobilization have been extended in Ukraine until November 5, 2025. At the same time , the law clearly defines the categories of citizens who are not subject to conscription for military service even during this period.<\/a> Also, the age limit for service is 60 years, but men older than this age can voluntarily go to serve under a contract<\/a> , mostly in non-combat positions.<\/p>\n
