President Zelenskyy’s representative in the Supreme Court is defending Medvedchuk’s rights. This was noted by Member of Parliament Viktoria Syumar, who was present in the courtroom.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As is known, today the panel of judges of the Cassation Administrative Court, part of the Supreme Court, continues to consider Petro Poroshenko’s claim against President Zelenskyy to overturn the illegal decree imposing sanctions.<\/p>\n

“The Supreme Court has begun reviewing the evidence in the case against Poroshenko and Zelenskyy for imposing sanctions. One thing struck me. It’s already known that the text of the decree on sanctions has been changed several times on the Ukrainian President’s website. This is because errors were being corrected, such as Poroshenko’s identification code and so on,” Syumar recalled.<\/p>\n

“But there’s also Medvedchuk, who was sanctioned for the third time in February 2025. And who, in the first version of the Decree of February 12, 2025, is explicitly listed as a citizen of Ukraine, even though two years earlier, in January 2023, Volodymyr Zelenskyy himself stripped Medvedchuk of one of the sanctions, which he no longer holds. That evening, these sanctions were reduced to Poroshenko, with Medvedchuk’s addition.<\/p>\n

“Unprofessionalism and amateurism as it is. It’s telling that the Ukrainian president’s representative stated in court that the publication of the decree revoking Medvedchuk’s citizenship violates Medvedchuk’s rights due to the disclosure of personal information. I frankly don’t see any personal information in the decree that isn’t public. Except that it… how blatantly the decrees on sanctions are falsified,” wrote Victoria Syumar.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Petro Poroshenko’s lawyer, Ilya Novikov, reported that the materials on the basis of which the illegal sanctions were imposed were submitted retroactively<\/a> . <\/p>\n
