During the Dobropil counter-offensive operation, the Russian army suffered significant losses –<\/span> thousands of occupiers were eliminated.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced by<\/span><\/a> President Volodymyr Zelenskyy based on the results of the report of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We talked with him for almost an hour – on all front lines, on the training of our brigades, on support. Special attention now, of course, is paid to the Dobropil operation,” the report says.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since its beginning, the occupation army has lost more than 12,000 soldiers, of which more than 7,000 were irretrievably killed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Russians already have more than 12,000 losses, and this is only there, only in the Pokrovsk and Dobropillya areas, precisely since August 21,\u201d Zelensky explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

He emphasized that defense continues in other areas of the front \u2014 in the Novopavlivske direction, Ukrainian units are carrying out active defensive actions and achieving “good” results.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Kupyansk \u2014 I want to thank each of our soldiers who are fighting now in the city and its surroundings,” the president added.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/span> thwarted a Russian offensive operation in the Pokrovska and Dobropillya areas<\/span><\/a> . Ukrainian units inflicted significant losses on the occupiers and deprived the enemy of the opportunity to launch a full-fledged offensive in this direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, during counteroffensive operations in the Dobropol direction , Ukrainian troops managed to advance 3 to 7 kilometers deep into<\/a> the enemy.<\/p>\n

As is known, in the Dobropol direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted successful counteroffensive actions<\/a> – probably three “cauldrons” for the Russians in the area of Kucherovy Yar, Volodymyrivka, and on the Razine-Novotoretske line.<\/p>\n

By the way, Oleksandr Syrsky, based on the results of a working trip to the Donetsk region, stated that the Defense Forces had cut off the Dobropil salient<\/a> .<\/p>\n
