Ukraine managed to return two families with children from the occupation to controlled territories as part of the presidential initiative Bring Kids Back UA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced by<\/span><\/a> the head of the OP, Andriy Yermak.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to his information, one of the families had been in the temporarily occupied territories for more than four years.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, among the rescued children is a 15-year-old boy with a musculoskeletal disorder. He needed treatment, but it was impossible to get it during the occupation.<\/span><\/p>\n

His 8-year-old sister left with him, who, as Yermak emphasized, spent a significant part of her life in fear from the sounds of explosions.<\/span><\/p>\n

An 18-year-old girl and her mother, who had repeatedly tried to escape the occupation, also escaped from Russian control. There they lived in conditions of danger and fear.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Now, finally, both families are in the territory controlled by Ukraine, where for the first time in a long time they feel safe and can begin to build a new life,” added the head of the President’s Office.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, Ukraine managed to return 29 more children from the temporarily occupied territories<\/a> who had survived oppression, coercion, and the imposition of Russian propaganda.<\/p>\n

We remind you that three children were returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories, as well as a young man<\/a> who was illegally taken to the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n
