If<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the attacks continue, Ukraine will be forced to purchase about 4.4 billion cubic meters of gas by the end of March, equivalent to 20% of the country\u2019s annual consumption. This will cost almost 2 billion euros.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, there is a risk that the Russians will intensify their strikes, resulting in even greater damage to domestic production.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to informed people, the repair of the power system is currently estimated at 758 million euros.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank, and the European Commission are considering additional funding. Naftogaz has already received two loans \u2014 \u20ac500 million from the EBRD and \u20ac300 million from the EIB.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previously, before the full-scale invasion, Ukraine&#8217;s gas infrastructure was able to cover domestic demand with its own resources.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, intensive Russian attacks have forced it to rely on foreign suppliers. In particular, since the beginning of 2025, Ukraine has already purchased 4.58 billion cubic meters of gas.
