On Thursday, October 9, the Verkhovna Rada supported the creation of Cyber Forces in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the law was adopted in the first reading. The initiative was supported by 255 people’s deputies.<\/span><\/p>\n

He explained that the relevant troops will be part of the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will perform various tasks in cyberspace, as defined by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It is proposed to create the Cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a military command body that will have the ability to attract a civilian component (cyber reservists) to its composition for the period of conducting relevant cyber deterrence measures,” Honcharenko added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier , a working meeting was held in the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/a> , during which the possibility of creating Cyber Forces as a separate branch of the military was discussed.<\/p>\n
