On the night of October 10, Zaporizhia suffered a powerful blow from Russia \u2014 attacks carried out by both drones and ballistic missiles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.<\/p>\n

According to the official, at approximately 02:00 the enemy launched at least three strikes on the city. As a result of the shelling, a residential building caught fire. Two people were injured – a 7-year-old child and a 45-year-old woman, their condition is assessed as serious. Later, another injured person – a 45-year-old man, was taken to the hospital, also in serious condition.<\/p>\n

It later emerged that a 7-year-old boy who was injured in the night attack had died in hospital. “Medics fought for the child’s life to the last, but the injuries were too severe,” Fedorov said.<\/p>\n

According to the head of the administration, the city was hit by at least seven drone strikes during the attack. The main targets of the attacks were the private sector and infrastructure, which caused several fires.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, as a result of the night strike on Kyiv, serious damage was recorded to critical infrastructure and residential buildings<\/a> . Part of the capital was left without electricity and water, and the number of civilian casualties reached 12 people.<\/p>\n

As reported, serious power outages were recorded in the capital on the morning of October 10. Due to strikes on critical infrastructure, the left bank of Kyiv was left without power, and the operation of the metro was partially limited.<\/a><\/p>\n
