Today, during the government question hour, the Minister of Energy was supposed to be heard. At the last minute, the topic was changed, and the Minister of Economy will answer the deputies’ questions in the Verkhovna Rada. And the Minister of Energy met in closed mode with the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada and factions, told that the Russians have intensified attacks on the Ukrainian energy system and how the authorities plan to counteract the blackouts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Given the meeting’s schedule, we cannot even tell the factions about it, but the government and parliament are obliged to find a format for the minister’s communication with society.<\/p>\n

Today’s difficult night showed how relevant the topic of the stability of the Ukrainian energy system is. In Kyiv and other cities, the enemy was targeting civilian neighborhoods and energy facilities. There is no light in our house on Pechersk, the left bank of the capital is in a blackout. It was very loud, nearby the fragments of the martyrs destroyed residential buildings. My sincere condolences to the affected families\u2026.<\/p>\n

We see that the Russians have no secrets about our energy system. They are targeting CHPs, compressor, transformer, and distribution stations. It is still unclear what kind of two-level protection Chernyshov, Kubrakov, and Nayem were talking about, who, as far as I understand, are now working on other projects of the next “restoration”, speaking at various conferences generously financed by our partners. Although I would have liked to hear a report on previous achievements. But it is already a Ukrainian tradition that reports are required only from Poroshenko, “reformers” and new faces, such a trifle does not apply…<\/p>\n\t\t
