Power workers have restored power to 800,000 Kyiv residents left without power following Russian shelling on the night of October 10.<\/strong><\/p>\n

DTEK reported<\/u><\/a> this.<\/p>\n

“We’ve completed the main work to restore power after last night’s massive shelling. More than 800,000 Kyiv residents now have power,” the company noted.<\/p>\n

As of the morning of October 11, localized power outages remain in the capital, and power engineers are still working to resolve them.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that a significant portion of Kyiv was left without power after a massive overnight strike. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko assured that restoration work had already begun and that power would be restored soon.<\/a> It was subsequently announced that power had been restored to 270,000 customers in Kyiv<\/a> . Emergency power outages have been lifted in a number of cities.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the overnight strike on Kyiv caused significant damage to critical infrastructure and residential buildings<\/a> . Part of the capital was left without power and water, and the number of civilian casualties reached 12.<\/p>\n

As reported, serious power outages have been reported in the capital since the morning of October 10. Due to strikes on critical infrastructure, Kyiv’s left bank remains without power, and subway service is partially limited.<\/a> <\/p>\n
