On Saturday, October 11, some customers in the Odesa region were left without power due to the aftermath of Russian shelling. Hourly outages are in effect in the Chernihiv region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ukrenergo<\/a> reports this.<\/p>\n

The agency notes that a nighttime drone attack on energy infrastructure resulted in power outages in the Odessa region.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore damaged equipment to service as quickly as possible and restore service to all customers,” the company stated.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the affected regions, following the massive missile and drone attack on October 10, power has already been restored, and emergency shutdowns are no longer in effect.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the Chernihiv region, Chernihivblenergo continues hourly outages in two stages due to damage to energy facilities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Electricity consumption also remains high due to cloudy weather throughout Ukraine, which reduces the efficiency of domestic solar power stations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“We ask that you use electricity sparingly and not turn on several powerful devices simultaneously during peak hours \u2013 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM,” Ukrenergo urged.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of Saturday, October 11, Russian<\/a> forces launched a massive attack using 78 attack drones of various types. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or suppressed 54 of the drones.<\/p>\n
