The Palestinian group Hamas has freed the first group of Israeli hostages \u2013 seven people handed over to representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The freed hostages will soon return to Israel. The first group includes twins Gali and Ziv Bermani, Matan Angrest, Alon Ohel, Omri Miran, Eitan Mor, and Guy Gilboa-Dallal.<\/p>\n

At this time, thousands of people gathered in Tel Aviv to greet their dismissed compatriots.<\/p>\n

In total, according to Israeli media, Hamas plans to free 20 hostages today. The remaining 13 will be handed over at 10:00 a.m. local time.<\/p>\n
