Monday morning, October 13, began with another hostile attack in the Chernihiv region. A Russian drone hit a store in the town of Semenivka, Novgorod-Siverskyi district, causing a fire and casualties.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As reported<\/a> by the Chernihiv Oblast State Emergency Service, one person died and another was injured as a result of the impact. The victim was hospitalized, and his condition is currently being clarified.<\/p>\n

“Another morning in the Chernihiv region – again under enemy attacks,” the rescuers noted.<\/p>\n

All emergency services are working on the scene, eliminating the consequences of the attack and clearing the rubble.<\/p>\n

The State Emergency Service also released footage from the scene: the store building is partially destroyed, with debris, traces of fire, and scattered goods all around.<\/p>\n\t

This is not the first shelling of the border areas of the region in recent weeks. Russia continues to attack civilian infrastructure with drones, and energy facilities are constantly under attack.<\/p>\n

We will remind you that Russian occupiers in the village of Zhadov, Chernihiv region, repeatedly shelled and damaged the equipment<\/a> of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

On the night of October 7, civilian infrastructure facilities in several districts of the Chernihiv region came under fire. A grain elevator was under attack<\/a> .<\/p>\n

On October 6, Russian troops struck an energy facility in the Chernihiv region<\/a> , leaving part of the region without electricity. The occupiers also struck the Chernihiv region on October 4.<\/a> Energy infrastructure facilities were hit. <\/p>\n
