The Government of Ukraine has launched an experimental mechanism that will allow technologies developed within the Ministry of Defense system to be transferred to mass production.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is stated<\/a> in a statement by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.<\/p>\n

According to him, solutions that have already proven effective can be quickly scaled up by several manufacturers at once. This will allow for increased production volumes, saturating the front with proven weapons, and expanding the range thanks to existing state developments.<\/p>\n

Also, the new export procedure will allow us to attract the potential of NATO partners to improve the technologies of the Ministry of Defense.<\/p>\n

“Technologies remain the property of the state. Access is provided only to verified manufacturers according to clear criteria,” Shmyhal noted.<\/p>\n

According to him, this decision accelerates the development of new prototypes of weapons, scales up their production, reduces Ukraine’s dependence on imports, and deepens international cooperation.<\/p>\n

“Every proven technology should work for the benefit of our soldiers and strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities,” he concluded.<\/p>\n

We will remind, earlier the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated an additional UAH 36.6 billion for the needs of the Ministry of Defense<\/a> .<\/p>\n

The Government also agreed to amendments to the 2025 State Budget<\/a> , which provide for increased spending and the defense sector.<\/p>\n
