Ukrainian units continue to destroy the enemy in the Donetsk region, in particular, over the past day, the Defense Forces cleared 3.4 sq. km of territory in the Pokrovske direction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced<\/span><\/a> by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.<\/span><\/p>\n

He noted that the enemy is trying to advance, but his attempts are unsuccessful. Instead, Ukrainian assault units have advanced 1.6 sq. km in some areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI thank all the Ukrainian defenders who are destroying the enemy, I especially want to note the defenders from the 33rd separate assault regiment and the 253rd battalion,\u201d noted Syrsky.<\/span><\/p>\n

Separately, the commander-in-chief emphasized that as of the morning of October 13, during the Dobropil operation, the Defense Forces managed to liberate 182.4 sq. km, and clear 224.7 sq. km of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated thatthe Defense Forces, thanks to the Dobropil counter-offensive operation, disrupted the Russian summer campaign<\/a> .<\/p>\n

As is known, during the Dobropil counter-offensive operation, the Russian army suffered significant losses<\/a> – thousands of eliminated occupiers.<\/p>\n

By the way, the military forces of the Russian Federation received an order to storm the positions of the Defense Forces<\/a> in the Pokrovsky direction at any cost.<\/p>\n
