In response to the petition to create a military administration in Odessa, which received the required number of votes, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed to take the necessary measures.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In particular, the relevant petition was supported by more than 25 thousand people, and Zelensky thanked them for their active civic position and the interest shown in the defense capabilities of Odessa.<\/span><\/p>\n

He emphasized that the decision to create military administrations is made by the president upon the proposal of the regional state administration or the military command.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, no proposals to create an MVA have been submitted so far. Zelensky has already sent letters to the head of the military police, Oleksandr Syrsky, and the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, with a request to verify the information provided and, if there are legal grounds, to take appropriate measures to respond.<\/span><\/p>\n
