The US Department of Defense has developed a plan to transfer or sell long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As noted, the Pentagon already has an algorithm of actions in case US President Donald Trump agrees to the transfer of weapons.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, such a solution will have certain difficulties, as Ukraine does not have the sea or land-based launchers necessary to launch missiles.<\/span><\/p>\n

To use the Tomahawks, the Typhoon system will be required. According to American officials, the transfer of the systems will bring the United States closer to a direct confrontation with Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recall that the transfer of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, which is currently being considered in Washington, is unlikely to have a significant impact on the course of the war.<\/a> Even if the decision is approved, it would only involve 20-50 weapons, which is a fairly limited resource.<\/p>\n
