In the Lyman direction, fighters of the Third Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group. The enemy tried to create a bridgehead for a further offensive in the Oskol area, but the attempt was thwarted.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service<\/a> of the Third Assault Brigade.<\/p>\n

During an attempt to break through into the forest area near the Izyum-Slovyansk highway, a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group was eliminated by the Ukrainian military.<\/p>\n

The fighters of the Third Army Corps cleared the area, which allowed them to preserve logistical routes to the front line.<\/p>\n

The operation took place near the settlement of Novoselivka. Scouts of the Third Assault Brigade tracked down the enemy and stormed the hangars and basements where the saboteurs were hiding.<\/p>\n

During the battle, Ukrainian soldiers shot down enemy drones, seized a Russian radio, and destroyed the remaining occupiers who refused to surrender.<\/p>\n

As a result, Ukrainian forces managed to thwart the enemy’s attempt to advance and increase pressure in the Lyman direction. <\/p>\n
