In the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhia region, one of the well-known Russian propagandists – the so-called “military leader” Ivan Zuev – was killed by a precise strike from a Ukrainian drone, and his “colleague” Yuriy Voytkevych was seriously injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Russian media reported Zuev’s death, noting that it happened “while carrying out an editorial assignment.” This is what the Russian Federation calls the work of propagandists in occupied territories.<\/p>\n

Zuev worked for several years at the pro-Kremlin news agency RIA Novosti, spreading narratives favorable to Moscow about the war in Ukraine. In March 2025, he even received a “thank you” from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for his work.<\/p>\n

His injured colleague Yuriy Voytkevych also worked for the same agency for a long time and was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 2nd degree. He is currently in hospital, his condition is assessed as serious.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, it was previously reported that on the night of Friday, September 26, the fierce Russian propagandist Tigran Keosayan died<\/a> . His death was reported by another propagandist – Margarita Simonyan, who is his wife. She has now become a widow.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kremlin propagandist, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and the RT television channel, Margarita Simonyan, has been diagnosed with cancer<\/a> .<\/p>\n
