{"id":1308277,"date":"2025-10-18T13:49:55","date_gmt":"2025-10-18T10:49:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/reserve-has-launched-an-online-deferment-program-for-parents-of-children-with-disabilities\/"},"modified":"2025-10-18T13:49:55","modified_gmt":"2025-10-18T10:49:55","slug":"reserve-has-launched-an-online-deferment-program-for-parents-of-children-with-disabilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/reserve-has-launched-an-online-deferment-program-for-parents-of-children-with-disabilities\/","title":{"rendered":"Reserve+ has launched an online deferment program for parents of children with disabilities."},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"91\" data-end=\"266\"><strong>The Reserve+ app for conscripts now offers a new feature: the ability to obtain a deferment from military service online for parents of children with disabilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"321\"> The Ukrainian <a href=\"https:\/\/mod.gov.ua\/news\/batki-ditej-z-invalidnistyu-teper-mozhut-otrimati-vidstrochku-v-rezerv\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ministry<\/a> of Defense reported this.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"459\"> &#8220;The system automatically checks information in state registries, and the user receives the results on their smartphone,&#8221; the department explained.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"461\" data-end=\"484\"> The service is available for: <\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"614\"><\/p>\n<li data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"544\">\n<p data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"544\"> parents of a child with a disability under the age of 18;<\/p>\n<p><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"614\">\n<p data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"614\"> biological parents of an adult child with a disability of group I or II<\/p>\n<p><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"735\"> If both parents are subject to military service, each of them can apply for a deferment through Reserve+.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"987\"> The Ministry of Defense clarified that the primary requirement for a deferment is the presence of verified data on the child&#8217;s disability in state registries. If such information is missing or incomplete, the system will automatically deny the service.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"1162\"> &#8220;You can update your information online, in the Electronic Account of a Person with Disabilities. If the child hasn&#8217;t yet been registered, you must do so first,&#8221; the ministry added.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1316\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"> You can also update your information through the Administrative Service Center, social security agencies, or the Pension Fund. The refusal notification in the app will tell you where to go.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"761\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"> As a reminder, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/u-rezerv-z-iavytsia-novyy-typ-vidstrochok-khto-mozhe-skorystatysia-ta-iak-oformyty\/\">the Reserve+ mobile app will soon feature a new feature<\/a> : online deferment from military service for parents of children with disabilities, regardless of the child&#8217;s age.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"761\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"> It was also previously reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/v-ukraini-proponuiut-zaprovadyty-novu-pidstavu-dlia-vidstrochky-vid-mobilizatsii-koho-tse-torknetsia\/\">Ukraine may introduce a new basis for deferring military service<\/a> .
