President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine will not make any concessions to Russia and will continue to strengthen cooperation with international partners in the defense and energy sectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He announced this in his evening address.<\/p>\n

According to the head of state, Kyiv is working with its European partners to expand the PURL program and increase purchases of American weapons, including air defense systems and long-range weapons. Furthermore, new agreements are being developed with a number of countries for arms supplies and the development of defense technologies.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Work is also underway to secure gas supplies for Ukraine and obtain energy support from partners. Zelenskyy noted that Kyiv has already submitted its proposals to Washington for infrastructure projects in the gas, nuclear energy, and other sectors.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The President emphasized that Ukraine is actively coordinating with European leaders to form a unified position on increasing pressure on Russia.<\/p>\n

“We will give nothing to the aggressor, and we will not forget anything. We clearly see that Russia is a long-term threat. Therefore, we in Europe need long-term cooperation and tangible results\u2014both in the short term and in the longer term\u2014so that people can live,” Zelenskyy emphasized.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The head of state also announced that Ukrainian diplomats are preparing a meeting of the “coalition of the willing,” which is scheduled to take place in the near future.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week , Russian President Vladimir Putin, during<\/a> a phone call with Donald Trump, demanded that Kyiv hand over full control of the Donetsk region to Moscow as a condition for ending the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The results of the Trump-Zelenskyy meeting<\/a> have already been reported. The leaders discussed security guarantees for Ukraine, arms supplies, including Tomahawk missiles, and prospects for ending the war. As a reminder, Trump previously avoided a direct answer to the question of whether Ukraine should cede territory<\/a> to achieve peace with Russia.<\/p>\n
