Soldiers from the 54th Reconnaissance Battalion received a shipment of generators from the Poroshenko Foundation and the NGO “Delo Hromad” \u2013 a critically needed item on the front lines ahead of winter.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Cities across Ukraine are now learning to live without power again \u2013 they’re buying charging stations and generators. Because the Russians continue to attack Ukraine’s energy sector. And the only ones who can stop this are the Armed Forces. Therefore, we’re sending a new batch of generators to the front,” Poroshenko wrote on social media<\/a> .<\/p>\n\t

“For the guys, these have been an integral part of their daily lives since the start of hostilities. They are needed daily for constant communication, recharging electronics, and heating. Without power, reconnaissance drones can’t fly, and electronic warfare systems don’t work. The generators themselves go to our Raccoon for the needs of the 54th Reconnaissance Battalion. I receive a photo: a smiling Raccoon loading six generators. Unfortunately, it’s been a while since we’ve seen each other in person. I hope to see you soon.<\/p>\n\t
