The war in Ukraine remains complex and unpredictable, but the front line is largely unchanged. In the next six months, it is unlikely that we will see a significant breakthrough on either side, either Ukrainian or Russian troops.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This belief was expressed by military analyst Franz-Stefan Gadi in a commentary<\/a> for The New York Times<\/span><\/strong> .<\/p>\n

“This is a conflict that is difficult to predict, but the front remains fairly stable. It is likely that neither Russia nor Ukraine will be able to achieve a decisive breakthrough within the next six months,” the expert noted.<\/p>\n

Gadi explained that Russian forces lack the operational capacity for a large-scale offensive, while Ukraine faces a personnel shortage.<\/p>\n

“The current dynamics of the war are unfavorable for Kyiv, but the situation is not yet critical,” the analyst emphasized.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the commander of the German joint forces, Lieutenant General Alexander Zolfranc, said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has no intention of ending the war against Ukraine. According to him, the West must stop the Kremlin leader.<\/p>\n

“The stakes of this war are extremely high. If we seek to preserve peace, freedom, our democracies and political systems, we must resist Russian aggression,” Zolfrank emphasized.<\/p>\n

The general stressed that if Russia wins, the entire post-war world order will be at risk. He called on Germany and its allies to step up military and political support for Ukraine to ensure a just and lasting peace.<\/p>\n

At the same time, according to Zolfrank, Europe finds itself in a difficult situation – the allies are committing to help Kyiv without a clear strategy for ending the war. Meanwhile, Moscow is actively rebuilding and reorganizing its armed forces, preparing for further escalation.<\/p>\n

At the same time , Russia’s line on maintaining troops in their current positions in Ukraine remains unchanged<\/a> . Thus, Moscow effectively rejected Donald Trump’s initiative for a ceasefire in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
