The National Prosecutor’s Office of Poland has opened criminal proceedings regarding an attempt to organize terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine. According to the investigation, a group of individuals acting in the interests of Russian special services planned to smuggle parcels with explosives and incendiary substances into Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The goal is to intimidate the population and destabilize the situation in countries that support Ukraine. According to the Polish prosecutor’s office, these shipments were designed to self-ignite or explode during transportation. However, the dangerous packages were detected and neutralized before they crossed the border – they were intercepted in Romania.<\/p>\n

As part of the investigation, a citizen identified as Danylo G. was detained in Poland. The investigation established that he acted on the instructions of Russian special services and coordinated with other individuals. On October 17, a Warsaw court chose a preventive measure for him – arrest for a period of three months.<\/p>\n

At the same time, two more Ukrainian citizens were detained in Romania, who, according to the investigation, collaborated with the main figure in the case. The Romanian Themis also decided to take them into custody for 30 days.<\/p>\n

Against this backdrop, the spokesman for the coordinator of Polish intelligence services, Jacek Dobrzynski, reported that since the beginning of the year, 55 people suspected of collaborating with Russian intelligence agencies have already been detained in Poland. Polish security services continue to actively work to uncover spy networks on their territory.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, a Russian military intelligence agent was detained in Poland, who was planning to carry out a terrorist attack on the territory of three European countries using drones and explosives.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported,Russia is likely preparing a fake special forces operation against Poland’s critical infrastructure in order to later shift responsibility to Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n
