The Verkhovna Rada voted for amendments to the 2025 State Budget, allocating additional funds to the Defense Forces.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the corresponding decision received 297 votes in favor.<\/span><\/p>\n

In total, UAH 325 billion will be transferred for the needs of the Ukrainian troops, of which UAH 292 billion is income from frozen Russian assets, which were transferred earlier than expected.<\/span><\/p>\n

The People’s Deputy emphasized that this is the first time such a procedure has been carried out.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that the law will be signed by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, and submitted to President Volodymyr Zelensky for signature.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers approved amendments to the 2025 State Budget<\/a> , which provide for increased spending and the defense sector.<\/p>\n

We remind you that the 2025 state budget lacks funds for salaries for the Ukrainian military<\/a> – the deficit is estimated at about UAH 300 billion.<\/p>\n
