The decision was supported by 297 MPs, including only 196 from the ruling Servant of the People faction.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"303\" data-end=\"434\">Bill No. 14103 on additional funding for the security and defense sector was promptly signed by the Speaker and marked as urgent.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"436\" data-end=\"647\">The amendments increase state budget revenues by \u20b420 billion (to \u20b42.5 trillion) and expenditures by \u20b4317.3 billion (to \u20b44.65 trillion). The maximum state debt ceiling rises from \u20b48.4 trillion to \u20b48.7 trillion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"737\">To partially offset the increase, expenditures are being reduced for several agencies:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"1260\">\n<li data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"762\">\n<p data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"762\">NABU \u2013 \u20b4320 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"763\" data-end=\"803\">\n<p data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"803\">Accounting Chamber \u2013 \u20b4253.5 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"856\">\n<p data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"856\">High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) \u2013 \u20b450 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"903\">\n<p data-start=\"859\" data-end=\"903\">Prosecutor General\u2019s Office \u2013 \u20b455 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"950\">\n<p data-start=\"906\" data-end=\"950\">Bureau of Economic Security \u2013 \u20b449 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"996\">\n<p data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"996\">Ministry of Social Policy \u2013 \u20b4204 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"997\" data-end=\"1035\">\n<p data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1035\">Ministry of Economy \u2013 \u20b411 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1036\" data-end=\"1083\">\n<p data-start=\"1038\" data-end=\"1083\">Ministry of Youth and Sports \u2013 \u20b414 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1140\">\n<p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1140\">National Security and Defense Council \u2013 \u20b410 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1201\">\n<p data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1201\">Luhansk Regional Military Administration \u2013 \u20b40.7 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1260\">\n<p data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1260\">Odesa Regional Military Administration \u2013 \u20b40.3 million.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1431\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The reallocation is aimed at ensuring uninterrupted payments to the military and maintaining operational capacity across the defense sector amid growing fiscal pressure.<\/p>\n\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" >\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/holes-in-the-defense-budget-where-did-the-military-money-go\/\">Holes in the defense budget: where did the military money go?<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"41\">Expenditures are increasing as follows:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"43\" data-end=\"896\">\n<li data-start=\"43\" data-end=\"436\">\n<p data-start=\"45\" data-end=\"436\"><strong data-start=\"45\" data-end=\"68\">Ministry of Defense<\/strong> \u2013 by \u20b4310.94 billion. Two-thirds of this increase (\u20b4210.92 billion) will support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including personnel and troop training, medical care for service members, veterans, and their families. An additional \u20b485 billion is allocated for the development, procurement, modernization, and repair of weapons, military equipment, and related systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"593\">\n<p data-start=\"440\" data-end=\"593\"><strong data-start=\"440\" data-end=\"472\">Ministry of Internal Affairs<\/strong> \u2013 by \u20b48.22 billion, including \u20b483 million for the State Border Guard Service and \u20b48.14 billion for the National Guard.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"688\">\n<p data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"688\"><strong data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"666\">State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection<\/strong> \u2013 by \u20b44.28 billion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"750\">\n<p data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"750\"><strong data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"728\">Security Service of Ukraine (SBU)<\/strong> \u2013 by \u20b41.28 billion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"751\" data-end=\"842\">\n<p data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"842\"><strong data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"822\">Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MO)<\/strong> \u2013 by \u20b429 million.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"896\">\n<p data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"896\"><strong data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"877\">Foreign Intelligence Service<\/strong> \u2013 by \u20b48 million.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"1020\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">These increases are aimed at strengthening Ukraine\u2019s defense and security infrastructure amid ongoing military challenges.<\/p>\n<p><em>As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget supported the updated version of the state budget for 2025, which provides for <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/komitet-rady-skhvalyv-zminy-do-biudzhetu-2025-na-oboronu-vydilyly-dodatkovykh-325-miliardiv-hryven\/\">a significant increase in spending on the security and defense sector<\/a>, by 325 billion hryvnias.
