Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and representative of the Kremlin’s negotiating team, denied information from Western media about the alleged suspension of preparations for a possible summit involving Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dmitriev emphasized that the information disseminated in the media is, in his opinion, a manipulation of comments from sources close to the White House, which is aimed at disrupting the preparations for the meeting.<\/p>\n

“Preparations are ongoing,” he briefly noted.<\/p>\n

In his post, Dmitriev also quoted a statement by Hungarian Foreign Minister P\u00e9ter Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3. The Hungarian diplomat expressed the opinion that opponents of a peaceful settlement will create a disinformation background to hinder possible negotiations in Budapest.<\/p>\n
