Trump\u2019s alleged two-and-a-half-hour \u201cconversation\u201d with Putin raises more questions than it answers. There were no official statements, no visible consequences, and no clear agenda. So, what really happened during this mysterious exchange \u2014 and did it even happen at all?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The information space is filled with confusion. One day, reports claim that \u201cthere is no need for a personal meeting between Rubio and Lavrov \u2014 everything has already been discussed\u201d (while at the same time the meeting is supposedly still planned for October 30). Next, we hear that \u201cthe meeting between Trump and Putin has been postponed \u2014 there were no agreements at all, only preliminary discussions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry declares that Moscow will not agree to a ceasefire because \u201cmost of Ukraine would remain under Nazi rule.\u201d In essence, this is an open statement of intent to occupy all of Ukraine, leaving no room for any peace deal.<\/p>\n

At the same time, information has surfaced suggesting that Trump believes \u201cthe parties are not yet sufficiently prepared for a meeting at the highest level.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t
