A young man who was previously detained by employees of the territorial recruitment center died in Kyiv after mobilization. The capital’s police have opened a criminal case and begun an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Journalist Daryna Trunova said<\/a> that the deceased was the son of her friends. According to her, after mobilization, the boy called his parents and asked them to bring him his things. The next day, the family was informed that he was in the hospital with a severe head injury, after which he fell into a coma. On October 23, the boy died.<\/p>\n

“How did it happen? They said he fell. But how, where, when, and why – no one can say. But they put forward a version: maybe he had epilepsy?”, the journalist wrote.<\/p>\n

She noted that the boy did not refuse military service. The parents filed a complaint with the State Bureau of Investigation, demanding that it investigate possible abuse of authority and negligence of duty on the part of the military.<\/p>\n

The Podilskyi Police Department of Kyiv later announced<\/a> that they had initiated criminal proceedings into the death of a man who was injured in the premises of a distribution point.<\/p>\n

“It has been previously established that a Kyiv resident, while in the premises of a distribution point in the Podilskyi district, fell to the floor and was injured<\/strong> . The mobilized personnel present provided him with first aid until the arrival of medics,” representatives of the capital’s police reported.<\/p>\n

The Kyiv City CCC and the Joint Service Center stated<\/a> that the information about the beating of the boy by the center’s employees is false. They emphasized that after passing the military medical commission, the mobilized man was sent for further service in one of the military units.<\/p>\n

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko, according to<\/a> MP Oleksiy Honcharenko, took the situation under personal control.<\/p>\n

By the way, the State Bureau of Investigation reported suspicions to two law enforcement officers in Kyiv who beat a man near the building of the Holosiivskyi District Territorial Procurement Center<\/a> on October 17. The victim received numerous bruises on the head and body.<\/p>\n

We will remind that in Kovel, Volyn region, on September 19, a clash occurred between servicemen of the CCC and employees of a local enterprise<\/a> . The conflict began after a man of draft age refused to present his military registration documents and tried to escape to the territory of the Gazmerezhi enterprise.<\/p>\n
