The court has extended the detention of a 52-year-old resident of Lviv, who is accused of involvement in the murder of MP and former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Prosecutor General’s Office.<\/p>\n

According to the court’s decision, the suspect will remain in custody – without the possibility of bail.<\/p>\n

The investigation charges the man with several serious articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:<\/p>\n

Part 2 of Article 111 \u2014 high treason committed under martial law;<\/p>\n

Article 112 \u2014 encroachment on the life of a People’s Deputy of Ukraine in connection with his state or public activities;<\/p>\n

Part 1 of Article 263 \u2014 illegal handling of weapons.<\/p>\n

The investigation is ongoing under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office.<\/p>\n

Recall that on August 30 , public and political figure Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv<\/a> . Later, journalists reported that MP Andriy Parubiy was shot 8 times by a man disguised as a courier.<\/a><\/p>\n
